Kalamazoo bicyclist taken to hospital after crash
A bicyclist was taken to a hospital Thursday night after a crash in Kalamazoo.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said officers were alerted to a crash at around 9:24 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6. investigating the crash. The bicyclists name and extent of injuries were not released.
Medical aid was provided at the scene before the bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
At the time of the alert, the intersection and both directions of East Michigan Avenue in the 1200 block were closed. No cause of the crash or driver information was released.
