Dirt bike rider seriously injured in Dorr Township SUV crash
Dirt bike rider in Dorr Township hospitalized after a collision with an SUV Friday night.
The crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. at 14th Street and 144th Avenue, according to preliminary information from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the rider was traveling south on 14th Street and did not stop at a posted stop sign before a westbound SUV struck the dirt bike.
The two people inside the SUV were not injured. The intersection was closed while the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team investigated. It reopened shortly before 9:30 p.m. The crash remains under investigation.
