The motorcycle, helmet, clothing, detached parts, tow and storage trail, repair estimate, insurer photographs, and any involved motor vehicle may answer different questions. Their condition should be documented before repair, sale, salvage, or destructive inspection changes the proof.
Speed, visibility, lane position, licensing, equipment, and helmet allegations should be tested against the actual evidence. Helmet use does not decide who caused a turn, merge, rear-end impact, road event, or other collision, though injury-causation disputes may require separate medical proof.

A downtown or Michigan Avenue turn may lead to city traffic and building records, while I-496 or US-127 can lead to MSP and MDOT evidence. A county-road or campus-area event creates still another map. The motorcycle, gear, other vehicle, cameras, witnesses, PIP priority, and medical proof should be coordinated across those boundaries.
The City of Lansing lists safety planning, traffic calming, street condition, bridge, and transportation programs through Public Service. Ingham County separately oversees county road and signal functions, while MDOT controls state routes. The actual location determines which records may exist.
A crash near a state building, East Lansing, or Michigan State University is not necessarily a City of Lansing record. Agency markings, jurisdiction, property, road control, incident numbers, and responders should be documented before requests are made.

Motorcycle PIP priority when a motor vehicle is involved, optional motorcycle medical benefits, liability, UM/UIM, health coverage, road or product issues, and damages are separate paths. None is automatic from the crash label.
