Downtown Kalamazoo’s Streets for All work, other city intersections, the US-131 and I-94 systems, and county corridors create different traffic and record questions. Kalamazoo describes ongoing and planned changes to Kalamazoo Avenue, Michigan Avenue, Michikal Street, Lovell Street, South Street, and connected downtown routes. For an event in that area, document the date-specific lanes, temporary controls, barriers, surfaces, lighting, access, and contractor activity.
The City’s Safe Streets for All work addresses lighting, intersection safety, traffic calming, bus stops, and proactive planning. It can identify public records or projects, but the plan does not prove a defect, notice, driver fault, or causation at a motorcycle scene.
Rain, freeze-thaw damage, gravel, paint, utility work, resurfacing, and cleanup can alter motorcycle-relevant conditions. Prompt photographs, measurements, video searches, construction records, and witness accounts are more useful than a later general description.

Motorcycle PIP priority when a motor vehicle is involved, optional motorcycle medical benefits, liability, UM/UIM, health coverage, road or product issues, and damages are separate paths. None is automatic from the crash label.
Whether a motor vehicle was involved can affect Michigan No-Fault priority. Household policies, vehicle ownership, assigned-claims facts, and the exact crash sequence should be checked before selecting a benefit source.
Fault, vehicle-owner responsibility, liability limits, UM/UIM, employment or delivery use, serious impairment, and comparative fault form a separate track from PIP benefits.
