Three seriously hurt in Sheridan Township crash
Three women were hospitalized with serious injuries Sunday after Sheridan Township crash.
The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called at about 5 p.m. to 30th Avenue and 17 Mile Road. Preliminary findings indicate a driver attempting a U-turn failed to yield to a Pontiac Grand Am.
The collision sent two vehicles off the road and into a marsh, according to deputies.
A 79-year-old Hastings woman, an 83-year-old Flushing woman and a 71-year-old Swartz Creek woman were taken to a hospital. The Grand Am’s driver, a 37-year-old Stanton woman, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
The crash remains under investigation.
