Man dies after Gratiot County rollover crash

A 32-year-old Ashley man died Thursday after a rollover crash on U.S. 127.

Gratiot County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded shortly after 6 a.m. Sept. 17 near Harrison Road.

Investigators believe he lost control while driving north. His car rolled and came to rest in the median.

He was taken to MyMichigan Medical Center Alma, where he later died from his injuries.

The sheriff’s office said drugs may have contributed to the crash but the investigation remains ongoing.
