Lenox Township crash on Gratiot Avenue injures 10

Ten people were taken to hospitals and one was in critical condition after a four vehicle crash Monday.

Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies responded about 12:40 p.m. Aug. 31 to Gratiot Avenue near 30 Mile Road. Four vehicles were directly involved, according to the sheriff's office. Gratiot Avenue was closed while the agency's Crash Team investigated.

The cause remained under investigation Monday. The sheriff's office said more information would be released as it became available.
