Woman killed in Richland crash after hitting tree

A woman died early Sunday after crashing into a tree in Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called about 2 a.m. Aug. 30 to North 35th Street near Greer Drive.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not release her name or age, citing family notifications and the ongoing investigation.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.
