Woman dies after M-115 crash

A Boon woman died at a Cadillac hospital after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Wexford County.

The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 2:56 p.m. Sept. 16 at M-115 and West 13th Street.

Deputies said a Cedar man driving southeast and the woman collided in an intersection. She was taken to Munson Hospital in Cadillac, where she died from her injuries. The man was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Cherry Grove Township fire and emergency medical personnel and Michigan State Police assisted sheriff’s deputies. The crash remains under investigation.
