Two men killed in three-vehicle crash at Holt and Every roads
A 59-year-old man from the Flint area and a 42-year-old man died in a car crash Monday afternoon in Alaiedon Township.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded about 4 p.m. Aug. 24 to the intersection of Holt and Every roads.
The sheriff’s office said a 40-year-old Haslett woman was driving north on Every Road when her vehicle hit one driven east on Holt Road by the 59-year-old man. The eastbound vehicle then hit a westbound vehicle driven by the 42-year-old man.
Both men died at the scene. The intersection was closed during the investigation and later reopened. The sheriff’s office said alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors.
The Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Team assisted. Officers from the Meridian Township Police Department, East Lansing Police Department and Lansing Police Department responded.
