Pedestrian killed in Detroit crash early Saturday on Grand River Avenue.

The pedestrian, a man in his 30’s, was struck at around midnight, Saturday, Aug. 8 near Grand River Avenue and Third Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, also a man in his 30s, was arrested after the crash. The report did not identify a charge. Police said investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
