Motorcyclist injured in M-60 crash in Cass County
A 59-year-old Decatur man was seriously injured Saturday morning when he lost control of his motorcycle in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a crash at about 7:15 a.m. Sept. 12 to M-60 west of Oak Grove Road in Jefferson Township.
A preliminary investigation identified the rider as Michael Armstrong. He lost control while riding on M-60 leading to the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
An ambulance took Armstrong to the Central Cass Fire Department, where MedFlight picked him up and flew him to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.
Authorities said it was unknown whether Armstrong was wearing a helmet. The crash remained under investigation.
