82-year-old Jones man injured in single vehicle M-60 crash
An 82-year-old Jones man was injured early Friday in an M-60.
The man, John Johnson, was driving west on M-60 when he experienced a medical emergency at about 1:07 a.m. near Woodlake Road in Newberg Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment. Newberg Fire and EMS assisted at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Michigan PIP benefits after a motor vehicle crash
Michigan’s no-fault law generally provides personal protection insurance (PIP) benefits for accidental bodily injury arising from the use of a motor vehicle, subject to statutory and policy limits under MCL 500.3105.
