Who Sharbel Massoud Is
Sharbel grew up in Flint and Grand Blanc. He graduated from the University of Michigan – Flint where he majored in Political Science and minored in Economics. He earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
Sharbel comes from a working-class family. He spent much of his youth in and around his father's mechanic shop in the City of Flint. Sharbel knows what it looks like when someone needs help and has no one in their corner.
He joined the Michigan Legal Center, Law Offices of Christopher Trainor & Associates, with a clear purpose: to advocate for people. He was drawn to personal injury and civil rights because he witnessed too many people's voices being unheard, intimidated, and not respected. That's where he chose to step in.
Why He Does This Work
Sharbel grew up in and around communities where he saw everyday people being mistreated, misled, intimidated, and taken advantage of by others. He realized that people needed someone to advocate and stand up for them. Sharbel knew becoming an attorney would allow him to help people and provide them with the justice they needed.
To Sharbel, justice is something that varies from person to person. He recognizes that what appears fair on the surface may not feel just to the person experiencing it. Sharbel seeks to provide justice for the person who needs it, regardless of who that person is.
How Sharbel Massoud Works With Clients
He picks up the phone. This is not a small thing in a profession where clients often wait days for a response. Sharbel's preference is to call and speak with a client directly. He believes that direct conversation is more meaningful and human than an email or text.
He treats every client with the same level of care, regardless of how big or small their case is. He does not adjust his effort based on case size, and he does not get intimidated by opposing counsel and big corporations.
His message for anyone worried about legal costs is practical: Insurance companies and big corporations have nearly unlimited amounts of money and resources to make your life miserable. Going at it alone against these companies costs more than having us by your side. Our firm works on a contingency basis, which means no fees unless there is a recovery.
