Ryan Ford

Personal Injury & Auto Accident Attorney | The Michigan Legal Center, Law Offices of Christopher Trainor & Associates

Who Ryan Ford Is

Ryan Ford is a Michigan personal injury lawyer at Michigan Legal Center who has spent 16 years helping injured people and families through serious claims without facing the legal system alone.

Ryan grew up in Sterling Heights and now lives in Macomb Township with his wife and daughter. He was the first person in his family to attend college, and his parents encouraged his dream of becoming a lawyer from the beginning.

His father was a lifelong trucker and his mother was a lifelong waitress. Their support helped carry him through seven years of school, countless exams, and the Michigan bar exam.

Why He Does This Work

Ryan's interest in law started at a young age. Even in elementary school, he was drawn to courtroom stories and the idea of standing up in court, arguing a case, and proving what happened.

"I had wanted to be a lawyer since I was a kid," said Ryan. "I really liked the John Grisham books and movies that I read and watched as a kid, and I thought wow this would be really interesting, being in court and arguing and trying to prove your case."

As an adult, Ryan discovered that practicing law in real life is different from the courtroom stories he grew up with. That never dampened his interest in the work. It gave him a clearer view of what clients actually need: preparation, patience, communication, and someone willing to keep pushing when the case becomes difficult.

How Ryan Ford Works With Clients

Ryan understands that communication is not separate from his job as a lawyer. It is one of the most important parts of helping clients through a stressful legal process.

Ryan and his team stay in constant communication with their clients so they never feel forgotten or left behind, even when weeks or months pass between major case updates.

To Ryan, communication is part of the work. Even when there is no major update, he believes clients should know their case still matters and that someone is still fighting for them.

His Record

Over more than a decade and a half, Ryan has handled a wide range of matters and worked with many different types of clients. That experience has shaped the way he approaches every case: with preparation, patience, and a clear understanding of what clients are going through.

$1.25 Million Settlement | Auto Accident Case

Ryan secured a $1.25 million settlement in an auto accident matter for an injured client.

$525,000 Settlement | Wrongful Death Case

Ryan recently helped resolve a wrongful death matter for $525,000.

$490,000 Settlement | Auto Accident Case

Ryan secured a $490,000 settlement for an injured auto accident client.

$160,000 Settlement | Falling Tree Injury Case

A neighbor's tree fell and injured Ryan's client. After other lawyers turned the case down, Ryan took it on and secured a $160,000 settlement.

$250,000 Policy-Limit Recovery | Auto Accident Case

An auto accident case had been turned down before Ryan took it on. Ryan recovered the available policy limits for his client.

Ryan's work reflects the same qualities clients need from a personal injury lawyer: steady communication, preparation, and a refusal to let a difficult case sit unanswered.
