Detroit, MI (August 3, 2023) - Late on Thursday afternoon (August 3) in Detroit, a motorist suspected of being inattentive collided with another vehicle, according to reports from the Detroit Police Department.
Two cars collided at around 4:20 p.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 696, right before the exit to eastbound Interstate 94. DPD police arrived quickly after the crash, albeit the events leading up to it remain unclear. Although the official injury toll has not been disclosed, paramedics were also called to the scene.
The TPD has not yet announced whether or if citations or charges will be issued in relation to the collision, but they have stated that an investigation is underway.
