Saginaw, MI – Pedestrian Crash at Essling St & Needham St

Saginaw, MI (December 19, 2024) - A pedestrian sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Saginaw on Monday evening, December 18.

The accident took place around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Needham Street and Essling Street. Emergency crews from the Saginaw Police Department, Fire Department, and MMR responded to the scene. Authorities reported that a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the area without stopping.

Medics provided immediate care to the injured pedestrian before transporting them to a local hospital for treatment. The condition of the victim remains unknown as of Wednesday morning. Investigations are underway to identify and locate the driver responsible for the crash.
