Sterling Heights, MI (December 18, 2024) - A car accident in Sterling Heights Sunday evening left a 6-year-old child with severe injuries. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on December 15 at the stretch of Dequindre Road between 18 and 19 Mile Roads. Authorities report that three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Emergency crews quickly arrived on the scene and transported the young child to a nearby hospital. According to police, the 6-year-old sustained a severe head injury as a result of the crash. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the collision. However, preliminary reports suggest that alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
