Midland, MI – Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Eastman Ave

Midland, MI (December 8, 2024) — Authorities in Midland are investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 74-year-old local woman. The incident occurred Friday, December 6, at around 10:11 p.m. on Eastman Avenue near Elizabeth Street.

According to the Midland Police Department, the woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing Eastman Avenue. The driver fled the scene immediately. Responding agencies included the Midland Police Department, Midland Fire Department, and MyMichigan EMS. Law enforcement officials continue their search for the driver involved in the tragic incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
