Detroit, MI (November 8, 2024) – A construction worker has died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Detroit.
On November 6, a 53-year-old construction worker was laying out a flare on the southbound side of Interstate 75 near Springwells Street. At the same time, a 71-year-old man was driving in the construction zone when he veered over and struck the worker. The construction worker was severely hurt in the accident. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
