Car Accidents in Michigan

Flint, MI – Vehicle Collision Reported on E Second St near S Saginaw StEach year in Michigan, tens of thousands of people are injured in car accidents. Unfortunately, many of these collisions are caused by drivers acting carelessly or recklessly. Common causes of these accidents include speeding, failing to yield, and running red lights. These actions can lead to devastating crashes that result in serious injuries for those involved. Some of the main types of accidents reported statewide include:

  • Rear-end collisions: Often caused by following too closely, these accidents can lead to significant injuries, especially for those hit from behind.
  • Uninsured motorist crashes: When a driver without insurance causes a crash, victims can face financial and legal challenges while trying to get compensation.
  • Head-on collisions: These accidents are often severe due to the force involved and can lead to critical injuries or even fatalities.
  • Hit-and-run accidents: In these cases, the driver responsible leaves the scene, making it harder for victims to recover damages.
  • Underinsured motorist accidents: If the at-fault driver has minimal insurance, it may not be enough to cover the full extent of the victim’s injuries and losses.

Any of these types of accidents can cause severe harm, often leaving victims with serious injuries such as spinal fractures, internal organ damage, and other conditions that require extensive medical care. For those who are hurt in accidents, the road to recovery is often long and difficult, with physical pain, emotional distress, and financial strain.
