Fairplain Twp., MI (October 7, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a teenager died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Montcalm County. The accident was reported to officials at around 10:00 p.m. on October 4.
Official reports indicate that a northbound vehicle was traveling through the intersection of South Sheridan Road and Boyer Road when it collided with a second vehicle head-on. The northbound vehicle, identified as an Audi, was driven by a 25-year-old man from West Bloomfield. The second vehicle was driven by a 21-year-old man from Ionia. A passenger in the Audi, identified as a 19-year-old female from Greenville, suffered fatal injuries and was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. Both of the drivers and a passenger in the second vehicle, identified as a 15-year-old boy from Alma, were all transported to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
