Detroit, MI (October 5, 2024) – The Detroit Police Department and Detroit Fire Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in which at least one person was injured.
At around 420 p.m. on October 4, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the road just after Michigan 8. The intersection was immediately shut down as police and firefighters went to work on removing the involved vehicles. At the scene, EMS responded to provide aid to the victims. Those individuals requiring more medical assistance were moved to local hospitals. The police department is currently looking into the accident.
