Lansing, MI – Auto Wreck with Injuries on I-496 near Cedar St

Lansing, MI (September 30, 2024) - A motor vehicle accident reported in the Lansing area ended in injuries. The Michigan State Police reported the accident at around 7:15 p.m. on September 30.

According to police reports, an automobile accident blocked several of the eastbound lanes on Interstate 496. The incident forced authorities to close down a large portion of the roadway near Cedar Street while working to remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services cared for the injured victims on-site. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
