A motor vehicle accident can drastically alter your life in an instant, often leading to severe and life-altering injuries such as head trauma, broken bones, spinal cord injuries, and other serious medical conditions that may require long-term care. Tragically, many of these accidents are preventable; they stem from avoidable circumstances. A significant number of crashes on our roadways are caused by drivers who are speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, distracted by their phones, or engaging in other reckless behaviors that endanger themselves and others.
As a consequence of these accidents, victims often endure extensive medical treatments that can be both invasive and prolonged. This may include hospitalization, multiple surgeries, and ongoing therapy, which can be physically and emotionally exhausting. The recovery process can be frustrating and filled with uncertainty as victims grapple not only with their physical limitations but also the mounting medical bills that can create a heavy financial burden.
