Brighton Twp., MI – Two Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Old US-23

Brighton Township, MI (July 9, 2024) - A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Brighton County claimed the lives of two people. The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 7.

Official reports indicate that a motorcycle accident took place on the northbound side of Old US Highway 23. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Loch Lomond Road. On the roadway, authorities located a motorcycle and a Dodge Caravan, both with significant injuries. Two people involved in the accident, identified as a 20-year-old man from Lyon and a 64-year-old woman from Fenton, were both fatally injured. Both victims were pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
