Flint, MI (June 11, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Flint area sent an unknown number of people to local hospitals with injuries. The Flint Police Department and area firefighters were called to the scene at around 1:45 p.m. on June 10.

Police reports indicate that vehicles collided on East Atherton Road. The police and firefighters arrived at the scene and shut down the roadway near Ogema Avenue. Emergency crews worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Paramedics tended to the injured victims on site before transporting them to area hospitals. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
