Flint Twp., MI – Auto Wreck with Injuries on Beecher Rd near Calkins Rd

Flint Twp., MI (April 30, 2024) – Emergency crews in Flint Township were requested to provide help at the scene of a car crash that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. Authorities were informed of the crash just before 9:00 a.m. on April 29.

According to Flint Township Police Department reports, vehicles collided on Beecher Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the roadway near the intersection of Calkins Road. The incident prompted the closure of the intersection for an extended period. Emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed on-site. At least one of the victims involved in the crash was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
