Silver Creek Twp., MI (April 8, 2024) – A 23-year-old lost her life as a result of the fatal collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Cass County. The Cass County Sheriff’s office and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 12:05 p.m. on April 6.
Official reports indicate that a farm tractor was involved in a collision with an unknown number of vehicles on Garrett Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the roadway near Middle Crossing Road after discovering that the driver of the tractor, a 23-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle. Immediately following the accident, the tractor rolled over on top of the man, resulting in fatal injuries. The incident is currently being investigated by authorities. No other injuries were reported.
