Burton, MI – Car Crash Reported on I-69 at N Belsay Rd

Burton, MI (March 21, 2024) – On March 20, calls for assistance came in regarding an automobile collision that occurred in the Burton area during the morning hours. At around 6:50 a.m., authorities were notified that an automobile collision occurred on Interstate 69.

According to official reports, vehicles collided on the eastbound side of the interstate, blocking multiple lanes of the road just west of North Belsay Road. Emergency crews immediately closed off a portion of the roadway as they went to work removing the involved vehicles. Emergency crews responded to provide aid to the injured victims and transport those who required further medical care to area hospitals. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
