Hanover Twp., MI – Injuries Reported in Auto Wreck on Moscow Rd

Hanover Twp., MI (March 19, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Hanover Township left two children injured. At around 6:00 p.m. on March 17, authorities were called to the scene of an accident on Moscow Road.

Preliminary reports show that a 16-year-old girl was driving south on the roadway when she crashed her Ford Escape into a buggy, which was traveling southbound. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near Hatch Road. Two children were injured as a result of the accident. A 32-year-old woman who was a passenger in the buggy was also injured. EMS transported a 10-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, and a woman to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
