Ingham Co., MI (March 8, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed the Michigan State Police, area firefighters, and medical personnel that they were all needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Ingham County.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on March 6, a motor vehicle accident occurred on the westbound side of Business Interstate Highway 69, Saginaw Street. Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and located multiple vehicles blocking the roadway near Abbot Road, prompting authorities to close the roadway. Emergency medical services tended to the injured parties while at the scene before transporting victims who required further medical attention to local hospitals. The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the crash.
