The majority of motor vehicle accident victims suffer painful injuries that require emergency medical care after being hurt in an auto accident. Each year, over 55,000 people are injured in auto wrecks across the state. Most of these car accidents result from negligence on the part of the drivers. We see many innocent people hurt in accidents due to drivers who are speeding, distracted by their cell phones, impaired by intoxicants, or engaging in reckless driving actions.
We see a significant number of innocent people suffer spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and internal organ damage as a result of accidents that require emergency medical attention. The treatment, therapy, and rehabilitation required for these and other severe injuries can take months.
