We hope the injured victim recovers quickly.
We offer our warmest sympathies to the family of the victim who lost their life in this accident.
Statistics show that approximately one out of every 9203 people who live in Michigan lose their lives as a result of automobile accidents. Unfortunately, there are far too many instances where innocent people die as a result of negligent drivers. When drivers simply do not operate their vehicles in a careful manner, it can have devastating consequences for everyone nearby.
Regrettably, pedestrians are far more vulnerable than most other people involved in crashes. As a result, they are likely to suffer severe and fatal injuries while being struck by vehicles. This is particularly true when pedestrians are struck at high speeds.
When drivers engage in negligent actions that take the lives of innocent people, they can be held liable for all of the resulting damages.
