Shell Knob Twp., MI (January 12, 2024) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred in Berry County on Thursday morning, January 11. The Michigan Department of Transportation out of West Michigan reported the accident at approximately 6:45 a.m.

Reports provided by law enforcement indicate that the northbound and southbound sides of Michigan 37 were blocked at Golden Lane as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place. The incident prompted officials to close down the roadway as they worked to remove the involved vehicles. Medics were requested on-site to treat injured victims. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The incident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
