Bangor Charter Twp., MI (January 12, 2024) – The police and firefighters out of Bay County were notified that an automobile accident took place during the morning hours on Thursday that required assistance. Calls for help came in just after 8:40 a.m. on January 11.

Police reports indicate that a Chevrolet Trailblazer and a Pontiac Vibe collided on 2 Mile Road at the intersection of East North Union Road. The incident prompted officials to close down the roadway as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. At least one of the parties involved in the accident was injured. Medics responded to treat the injured victims and transport those in need of further assistance to local hospitals. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
