Grand Rapids, MI (January 4, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Kent County resulted in injuries. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at approximately 3:50 p.m. on January 3.

Michigan State Police reports indicate that a collision between vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of Michigan 11, 28^th Street. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Interstate 196 as they worked on removing the vehicles. The road was closed off for more than half an hour as emergency crews remained at the scene. EMS provided care to the injured victims before transporting them to area hospitals. The incident is being investigated at this time.
