Eastpointe, MI (December 21, 2023) – The police and firefighters out of Macomb County were called to provide assistance at the scene of an accident in Eastpointe that resulted in one person being injured. The crash occurred early Wednesday morning, December 20.

At approximately 2:20 a.m., a collision between an undisclosed number of vehicles occurred on Gratiot Avenue near Stephens Road. The impact of the crash caused one of the involved vehicles to overturn. After arriving at the scene, authorities located a black Ford focused on its roof lying against a tree on the median. The driver of the vehicle was injured and rushed to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
