Manitou Beach, MI (December 10, 2023) – The police and firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile collision that took place on Thursday afternoon and ended in injuries. On December 7, authorities were called to the scene of a crash on US Highway 223.

Official reports indicate that a collision blocked the northbound side of the highway near Sandy Beach Road. Emergency officials responded to care for the injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash was injured and transported to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
