Detroit, MI (November 28, 2023) - After an accident on Tuesday afternoon, November 28, a local Detroit roadway was nearly completely closed. Multiple right lanes, along with the freeway ramp, of eastbound Michigan Highway 3 at the Mack Road exit were closed due to the accident at roughly 2:30 p.m., according to troopers with the Michigan State Police. Multiple first responders reported to the scene shortly thereafter. At least two drivers were involved, though it's unclear how the collision occurred. First responders also arrived at the site, but it is also unclear how severe the victims' injuries were or the current conditions of those involved. Local law enforcement in the Detroit area is continuing their investigation, but no new details have been published as of yet.
The injured victims and their families are in our thoughts at this time.
Almost five times every minute across the county, an automotive accident occurs, as reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The bulk of personal injury lawsuits now being examined in our courts are linked to automobile accidents, which is not surprising given the dismal statistics for both Michigan and the United States.
If you've been in a car crash, even if the facts are straightforward and you don't think you're gravely harmed, you should still see a legal professional. Evidence suggests that having legal representation may boost a plaintiff's financial recovery in court. Many victims, understandably, are concerned about how much it would cost to hire an attorney. However, most attorneys who specialize in personal injuries work on a contingency fee basis.
You should consult an attorney if you or a loved one has suffered a personal injury. Your attorney will serve as your primary representation in all dealings with the insurance company and any other involved parties. Moreover, you can trust your lawyer to look into the situation carefully, track down the person or persons at fault for your accident, and provide you with a solid case for financial recompense. The information needed might then be gleaned by questioning potential witnesses and gathering the evidence connected to your accident. From there, your attorney will fight on your behalf, inside or outside of court, to secure justice for you and yours.
