Detroit, MI (November 16, 2023) – The Michigan State Police responded to the scene of a car crash that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries, according to official reports. At around 7:15 p.m. on November 14, calls for help came in regarding a crash on Michigan 10.
Reports from MSP indicate that a Metro South trooper was positioned in the right lane of travel on the highway while waiting for a tow truck to load a vehicle that had become disabled while traveling near Wyoming Avenue. After some time, a white sedan proceeded through the area and crashed into the vehicle.
The incident prompted a further shutdown of the roadway as emergency crews removed the two involved vehicles from the scene. One person, a 60-year-old female, was injured in the crash. She was transported to a local hospital for medical care. Investigations surrounding the crash are ongoing.
