Jackson, MI (December 26, 2023) – A five-year-old boy lost his life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred in Jackson on Monday evening, December 25. Calls for assistance came in at around 5:30 p.m.

According to local law enforcement, a young boy was struck by a vehicle in the 3100 block of Blackman Road during the early evening hours. The child was severely hurt as a result of the accident. Authorities confirmed that the young boy passed away from the injuries he suffered as a result of the crash. No other injuries were reported in the accident. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
