Detroit, MI (October 28, 2023) - On the evening of Saturday, October 28, at least one person was hurt in an accident involving two vehicles in the area of Hall Road and the Groesbeck Highway.
At around 8:30 p.m., the accident happened at the intersection when a red Ford Bronco was speeding on the left shoulder on eastbound Hall Road approaching Groesbeck and ran a red light, hitting a white sedan going through the intersection. The condition of both drivers is unknown, though Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies confirmed that EMTs responded to treat the victims.
Although emergency medical services were sent to the scene, details about the victims' current conditions and the severity of their injuries remain unknown.
The investigation by Macomb officials and the Detroit Police Department is ongoing, but no new information has been provided to the public at this time.
