Detroit, MI (October 25, 2023) - On Wednesday, October 25, two vehicles collided at a local intersection in Detroit, leading to victim injuries and a rollover, as reported by Michigan State Police troopers and local officers.
According to a report from troopers with the MSP, at least one of the drivers involved in the collision, which occurred at 16 Mile Road and Mound Road, was assessed for injuries before being transported to an area hospital. Though officers wrapped up their on-scene investigation, which started shortly after the wreck was reported at 10:00 a.m., they have not provided specific details about the victims involved.
The roadway was closed for cleanup just after the Mound juncture but has since reopened. The inquiry into the cause of the accident is ongoing and active in the meantime.
