Detroit, MI (October 25, 2023) - After two drivers collided in a highway accident on Wednesday, October 25, police restricted traffic to the left shoulder and several right lanes of Interstate 96.
A handful of Michigan state troopers arrived in the vicinity of westbound Interstate 96 and the Grand Boulevard exit in Detroit at around 7:30 p.m.
According to the police, at least one of the drivers was traveling too quickly for roadway conditions before losing control of their car and colliding with two or three other vehicles.
Firefighters from Detroit and state troopers from Michigan were there for several hours, though the total number of injuries victims is unknown. An investigation is active in the meantime.
