Detroit, MI (October 11, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving two drivers in Detroit on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 11.
The accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. in the area of northbound Interstate 75 after Grand River. When deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrived, they determined that two vehicles were involved in the collision, which was an apparent rear-end wreck that ended in a possible chain-reaction collision. However, authorities have yet to piece together what led to the crash.
Although EMTs were sent to the site to evaluate the wounded, the extent of their injuries and the current status of the victims have not been made public.
Detroit police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office are continuing their joint investigation but have not provided any additional details at this time.
