Detroit, MI (December 9, 2023) – The Michigan state police out of Wayne County were called to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Detroit area and ended in injuries. Calls for help came in at around 4:45 a.m. on December 9.
According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation, vehicles collided on the northbound side of Michigan 39. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the roadway near Interstate 96. Emergency officials responded to the scene to assist. Medical personnel were notified that they were needed at the scene to treat injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
