Lansing, MI (November 27, 2023) - U.S. Highway 127 southbound, south of Barnes Road, was closed due to a possible wrong-way accident on Monday, November 27. Multiple fire and rescue services were sent to the scene. Within minutes, deputies from Lansing had also arrived and discovered several injuries. Officials began working to extract victims from one of the vehicles, though the total number of people hurt remains unknown. Officers added that the crash included a potential fatality, though an investigation is still ongoing in the interim.
