Detroit, MI (September 13, 2023) - Several lanes of southbound Interstate 75 were shut down after a collision involving several automobiles occurred near the Livernois Road exit on September 13.
The Detroit Police Department responded quickly, sending officers to the location. The Michigan Department of Transportation said that at least two or three vehicles were involved in the accident that shut down most of the left-hand lanes of the highway in the Wayne County region.
Michigan State Police and Detroit Police Department officers came to conduct an investigation at about 3:00 p.m. Although the precise number of victims is yet unclear, the Detroit Police Department has sent local paramedics to assist.
In the meanwhile, the DPD is finishing up interviews with potential witnesses and continuing their investigation.
