Detroit, MI - T-Bone Crash, Injuries at 21 Mile & Heydenreich Rds

Detroit, MI (August 25, 2023) - A T-bone collision and rollover crash took place on Friday morning, August 25, in the greater Detroit area, leading to apparent victim injuries.

At around 7:30 a.m., officers with the Detroit Police Department were called to the intersection of 21 Mile Road and Heydenreich Road for reports of a two-car wreck and subsequent rollover. Detroit police officers requested emergency support over the Macomb County scanner and notified Michigan State Police investigators of the incident.

It is unclear how many people were hurt, but paramedics were on standby to treat victims. Officers have not confirmed the details surrounding those involved, though initial reports suggest the driver of a Ford Explorer T-boned a sedan in the area, leading to injuries to at least one of the motorists.

The DPD has asked that any other potential witnesses get in touch with them during their ongoing investigation.
